As a new substation is being built at Boltås, north of Evenes airport, a temporary coupling of this station to the existing transmission line is necessary. This work will be done with Statnett resources and will be close to the station area and operate in the period May-November 2021. NVE, The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate, approved the construction and environmental management plan (CEMP) 4th of May 2021 and is attached here.
Due to an ongoing court process the signing of contract for the new transmission line and the construction is postponed.
