“The work at the substation is progressing well,” relates Even Vandbakk, Project Manager. “Everything is on track, and we have applied to bring the installations online in May next year – rather than in July as previously planned.”
Siemens will start laying the computer room floor and running the cables to the control plant in August, while the transformers are scheduled for installation towards the end of September. The work that the wind power operators are carrying out for Statnett – laying access roads, etc. – is also on schedule.
