The contract comprises engineering and execution of ground, concrete and construction work for control and high-voltage buildings. Skaidi substation will be equipped with a gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for high voltage. Engineering, acquisition, installation and testing of the installation are parts of the contract.
Siemens has entered into a collaboration with Peab /Bjørn Bygg for the building part of the contract. In addition, several local companies are being considered as subcontractors for other disciplines.
Any complaints about the recommendation must be submitted within ten days.
Statnett has engaged Kvalsund Maskin to establish the necessary infrastructure prior to start-up of the construction activities.
Work has started on Skillemoen substation
Last week Anlegg Nord started groundworks for Skillemoen substation in Alta. The substation site will be prepared for a traditional, air-insulated facility. Invitations to tender on the actual construction part were issued with a deadline of 25 August.
