In the spring of 2021, Statnett worked on a first draft of our framework for assessing and processing connections with conditions. The framework has been created based on provisions in the Regulation on grid regulation and the energy market (NEM) and is therefore not subject to the same requirements as the guidelines that follow from FOS (Regulation on system responsibility in the power system)
Connections to the power grid with terms
The purpose is to facilitate better utilization of the grid as well as faster or cheaper connections if this is possible. In order to support the system operator's responsibility for safe operation and efficient utilization of the power system, the system operator is given a role when the grid operators wish to use such conditions.
