The NorNed cable unavailable

Friday January 29th at 17:12 hrs, a power failure occurred at the NorNed cable between the Norway and the Netherlands. The fault has been detected approximately 63 km off the coast of the Netherlands, whilst exact fault location is currently being searched for.
The fault is located at the Dutch end of the cable and TenneT is in charge of the repair operation. NorNed will be unavailable for several weeks, however, exact length of the outage is subject to further investigation. Additional information will be published as soon as it becomes available.
