NorNed back in operation from Tuesday

The NorNed cable between Norway and the Netherlands will be fully operational from Tuesday 27th of April. The cable has been disconnected since a failure occurred 29th of January.
Repair works were initiated before Easter and took in total five weeks to complete. The defective section has been removed and a new part welded in. The operation was performed without any major interruptions.
Statnett has been in charge of the repair operation on behalf of TenneT.
