NorNed 2 – planning proposal submitted

The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has accepted Statnett’s request to build on the comprehensive works carried out during previous planning and concession processes when preparing a second cable to the Netherlands.
The decision implies that NVE regards planning proposal for the project as sent.
Statnett plans to submit license application at the end of 2010.
