NorNed - first part of the repair operation completed

Repair of the NorNed cable between Norway and the Netherlands is going forward and repair works are on schedule to be completed within the second half of April, as earlier informed.
The defective part of the cable has been removed, and is currently being replaced. When completed, the cable will be covered and tested before being put back into operation. Repair works are on schedule to be completed by the end of April, provided the weather conditions at sea remain favourable and the various tests are successful.
Repair works initiated before Easter is planned and carried out under supervision by Statnett on behalf of TenneT.
