No new Elspot area in Southern Norway now

The current favourable hydrological situation in Norway does not make it necessary to declare a new Elpot area in Southern Norway at this stage. Statnett will however monitor the situation closely and will, if needed, inform the market in due time about any changes in this situation.
In exchange information from NordPool no 39 in 2007 and no 54 later last year Statnett informed about a new Elspot area in Southern Norway.
Several enquiries from actors in the market about this subject have made it necessary to update the information to the market, and Statnett has therefore today released the message that there will be no separate Elspot area in southern Norway now.
