The Statnett Group has more than 850 employees and corporate head office located at Smestad in the western suburbs of Oslo.

Statnett SF is a public enterprise, owned by the Norwegian State through the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and regulated by the National State Enterprise Act.

In the event of unforeseen incidents related to power supply, Statnett’s out of hours press phone is manned after 4pm weekdays, all weekend and on all public holidays.
